Photography

Photography is the foundation of all my projects — including DX//PLORER. What once took the form of slide shows has evolved into magazines, a website, and a visual journal shared online. The medium has changed, but the intention has not.

Magazine’s

With this Magazines I give live to my Fotos

It all started with the feeling that my photographs deserved more than living on a hard drive.

I’ve always loved well-made magazines — the weight of paper, the rhythm of images, the way stories unfold page by page. Somewhere between trips and conversations, the idea emerged to turn my own journeys and adventures into printed journals.

That’s how the DX//PLORER magazines came to life.

Books crafted

The first major book project grew out of a four-month journey across Southeast Asia, continuing on to Singapore and Australia.

Along the way, the experiences of that journey found their place in handwritten notes and travel diaries. When those texts were later woven together with the photographs made on the road, they formed a visual narrative — a book of images and stories shaped by movement, encounters, and time.

Influenced by my long-standing admiration for publishers like Gestalten and the world of carefully crafted coffee-table books, the project was shaped not only as a record of travel, but as a designed object. Layout, sequencing, and the physical presence of the book became as important as the images themselves.

Inspired by how books are often contextualized through reviews, reflections, and interpretations, an additional layer emerged: experimental reviews. Much like the speculative commercials created from my photographs, these texts are part of the project’s playful, exploratory nature — imagined reflections rather than real critiques.

This first book became the foundation for everything that followed.

It began with a simple intention: I wanted to give my magazines a bit more real magazine touch.

What is
DX//
PLORER

Its my space for Creativity and my passion for design

Here, I explore visual storytelling in its many forms: magazines, books, conceptual projects, and fragments that may or may not evolve into something more. DX//PLORER is driven by curiosity rather than goals — by the freedom to try, to refine, and to follow where ideas lead.

At its core, DX//PLORER is an invitation to slow down, to observe, and to explore — visually and creatively.

Many ideas have been shaped along the way through conversations, shared journeys, and inspiration. A special thank you to DenisFly for the ideas, exchanges, and travels that continue to influence this project.
